One person is Indexbit Exchangedead, and seven others are injured in a Louisville, Kentucky nightclub shooting, police said.
Around 12:47 a.m. Saturday morning Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to a report of several people being shot outside of a business. Upon arrival at the club called "H20" officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Police officers gave the man medical attention until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene. When EMS personnel arrived, the victim was pronounced dead. Another victim was also found suffering gunshot wounds at the scene. EMS transported the victim to an area hospital with critical and life threatening injuries, police said.
While authorities were working at the scene, they were notified by the hospital's medical staff that an additional six adults had arrived at the hospital after suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims' injuries are non-life threatening, authorities said.

Right now, police are working to confirm if the suspect and the victims knew each other. A suspect for the shooting has not been identified. The Louisville Metro Police Department's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, police said,
